this ring is an exploration of light and mark-making on silver and gold. the scratches shimmer off the gold in a way that really does need to be seen to be understood. this work stems from drypoint, a printmaking technique that renders clean, crisp lines.

18k yellow gold bimetal is lovingly, obsessively, painstakingly scratched with an x-acto blade until it's surface glitters like a disco ball.

this particular ring is a (snug) 6 1/2, but can be sized.
